Our 2018 29M was wired backwards. Dealer reversed the wires and then it shorted out on our next trip and had to be replaced.

Hi Dave, I plan on installing bug screens on my 2018 29M. You may have already posted it but what type and where did you get the screens? I don't like the screens sold at Camping World that attach to the outside either.

Hi Ernie, did you find out the color coding of how the wires are supposed to be connected?

Hi Dave,

I bought a filter that installs outside on the water inlet of the coach. I like this mod you did with the water filter inside. Where did you get the parts for the install? How long does the filter last and is it easy to replace?

Hi Dino, can you tell me what the cold-air intake mod is for and where is it installed?

Thanks

Here's what I did on our 34J. This is a "crappy" picture but you can see the endcaps of two 8" pvc pipes I mounted below the last bin. They are about 5' long with a sealed fitting on the other end and screw caps on the end showing. Each one is mounted with 2 U-bolts to bottom of the last bin and 1 bolt through the sealed end, butted up to the second to last bin.

Plenty of room for 2 sections of hose plus all the connectors. Might even be enough room to squeeze another hose in them.

I keep two 10' hoses, one 5' hose (I use for my tote tank), and two 90* elbows plus the sewer hose support (similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Level-Trek-LT...+hose+supports ) in the sewer compartment. Its small but everything fits just fine.

Jerry, I posted an earlier message today that I could not get a dominator to fit on the outlet of my 29M, turn the hose through the opening going outside, and close the compartment door so I bought a Viper flexible hose.

You said that the sewer outlet connection swivels so I went out to the coach and it took some pressure but I was able to swivel it down a few inches until the tether that Thor put on the cap extended as far as it would go. At that point I couldn't remove the outlet cap. My question is whether you know if it is safe to swivel the sewer outlet up and down each time ? Do you think that it might start leaking at the joints from moving it too much? I can always remove the tether and leave the outlet facing down.

My understanding is that its made to swivel down so i dont think its a problem. At full hook ups i always move it down. Dont think twice about it.

Couch removal day. Dave, Sundance, came over to give me a hand. Pretty easy job.

After it was gone i pulled the black cover that on the slide floir to see what was under there. Thought it was a roller to help the slide as it moved. Well no roller. Its a t handle that goes in a bracket on the slide. Not sure if it helps support the slide or used to help keep the slide aligned.

Still not sure what ill do with the heat vent. I bought some heat ducting from home depot that would be installed in the front rear of the slide ir ill build a wood box and bring the venting tube to the front next to the slide wall

New love seat arrives on Wednesday

Jerry, do you have any suggestion for replacing the plastic tether that Thor installs with something else longer?

Is the tether on yours short and made out of plastic?

Jerry nice pics, down on front edge of slide I removed that black trim piece, you will then see how thick slide is and I didn't want to screw through it.

I feel your pain! I ended up giving my Cam Lock system to my brother, he has a Tiffin and it fit his waste system like a glove. Poor design by Thor!!!
