We use these. The bottom section is hollow so I cut them off and the fit well in the non-cup holders that Thor provides. I used a square of velcro to make sure they stay put. I also use a pair without the bottoms cut off in the cup holders in the center console of my RecPro recliners

We purchased a 31Z November 2018 and found several oddities too. I pointed out the upside down pins to the dealer during our walkthrough, punched them out and reinstalled them correctly after we got it home.

Hi Mike. So your bathroom door had the pins in upside down? At least Thor is consistent. We picked up our 2018 31Z the 1st of November. Does the box your batteries are in move around?

Ours is not loose, but I will double check how many screws in holding it now. I pulled the batteries and took the hydraulic pump bolts out after we got it home and cleaned, painted it with rust converter, and undercoated it. The thin coat of paint from the factory was almost gone. I have "painted" quite a bit of the underside in the last month. I was in the military and we never allowed even our older vehicles to get rusty. Been reading all the posts on this forum for the past week. Finished today! Made quite a few changes to our 31Z. Added a pull chain switch for the bathroom fan today. The wife could not reach the rocker switch without a stepstool.

Good mod to the battery box. The screws that were messed up on mine you have to get under the rv to see. They are at the bottom of the box and screw to the outside. I had to be very careful because if you go to far the screws will come out the side.

I just put clear packing tape on the car where I put the lights. Remove it when the trip is over.

Just for anyone reading this, and perhaps this is answer in the next 50 pages I haven't read, no, sumo springs or air bags do not perform the same function as a trac bar.
A trac bar is an axle location device. The springs on the rear of the F53 chassis are all that locates the rear axle. By design they can allow the rear axle to move a little side to side. The trac bar (another name, panhard bar) restricts this side to side motion.
The sumo springs are basically supplemental springs. They are more comparable to airbags.

Keep in mind, Magic Erasers and similar products are a very mild abrasive.

New here. Picking up my Hurricane 2016 34J in two weeks with any luck. Its a used ex-Elmonte Rental, so it has a few differences from normal 34j's of the same vintage (no outside kitchen, no outside TV compartment, no inverter).
This will be my 7th RV, and my 3rd Class A.
My first few mods will be installing a Xantrex XM1800 inveter that I have had in my last 3 coaches, adding an energy management system, and adding an Magnum Auto Gen start to keep the temp cool for my fur babies. The CHF is on the list. Also probably going to replace the king mattress with the memory foam mattress we have in our house and upgrade our house mattress.
I live in Tallahassee, Florida with my wife and 3 kids.
Thanks all for all the good info on here.

Today I removed the streaks from the sides of the RV including the windows. First I used a long handle soft brush with car wash soap and water. That removed some of the lighter streaks. Then for the more stubbon streaks I used a high concentration of Pine Sol and water in a spray bottle and then used a short handle, semi soft brush. For the real stubbon streaks I used the Pine Sol spray and a stiff floor type hand brush. I need to put a coat of wax on the entire coach.

Jannnda,, does your bathroom door have this large crack between frame and door? Been thinking about a continuous piano hinge to replace regular door hinges. picture is sideways, sorry

Mike, I took some pics for you. The first one is taken from the bedroom to the front and the second is from the front of the couch to the back. Hope this helps.

Thanks, looks like they mounted our door hinges differently, maybe so the magnet on the outside top edge would reach the stop on the other side of the hall. Time to look at mine and see if I can redo the hinges or just get a piano hinge.
I looked under my battery box today, it had holes for 5 screws at the bottom edge and actually had 4 installed.
The junction box next to the generator had one of the cable conduits coming out of the connector. Was able to pull enough slack to reconnect it, and tighten the nut holding the flexible conduit.
Saw where some had problems with the wiring at the water heater. Checked ours today, looks ok, but now I know where the heating element is located and a 12v relay I knew nothing about.

Cleaned the TPO roof today and applied 303 protectant, same products I have been using on all the RV's we have had. Got a couple of very small places I need to touch up with Dicor sealant. I noticed that Dicor has a 'tape" available now. It appears to be the same as a product I have been researching, Eternabond.
Has anyone had any experience with Eternabond?

I found a great deal on a 2018 Jeep Cherokee. Trying to find out if it can be flat towed. Looked on the internet but the information was a little confusing. I know it has to be 4X4 but I found it also needs a 2 speed transfer case? Not sure what that is. I also found it just needs to be a 4X4. Anyone know what I should be looking for. Thanks
