Overhead 14" 1080P / DVD / HDMI Monitor
After looking at everyone's solutions for a larger monitor for the back up camera, I decided to attempt this. A flip down 14" monitor / DVD player installed over dashboard. Back up camera and left / right turn camersa are visible in the monitor running a piggy back RCA cable of the switchbox output and ran up under the trim on the driver's site to the overhead platform. Default view is rear view camera so I can keep an eye on our trailer toad.
I also have a HDMI input on the unit and I plugged in the Dual DMH25 DualCast Wi-Fi USB/HDMI Dongle so I can mirror my phone for Google Maps.
Here's the model I used. https://www.rockvilleaudio.com/rvd14bgb/

Getting ready for the DC trip. Filled propane, filled water in batteries, started fridge, checked air filter, oil level. Everything ready to go. Since it was cool and a little over cast I decided to wash and wax it. Half way through the wash the rain came wtf. Finished washing it anyways since the rain doesn't really take the stuck on dirt off. Wax will come in the next few days.
Took the cover off the Camaro and moved it so I could wash the mh. Now its soaked also. It hasn't been washed or seen rain in a couple of years. When ever I drive it I put Meguires quick detail or spray wax on it so no need to wash
Hope we don't get to much had weather on the trip
Jerry

Just flip the switch and the water from the fresh water tank is recirculated instead of going down the drain.

I so want to do this but I fear my wife would have a melt down if she seen me cutting a big gaping hole in the wall! The fact the access panel is hided behind the bathroom door most of the time that is a bonus maybe.

If you have the Windsport/Hurricane 29M, you have no choice but to modify the wall behind the bathroom pocket door to install the Showermiser! Good luck!!

I'm ready to purchase the 4Gx- RV version & I will need to get the cable inside the motor home. I'm a little gun shy about drilling a hole through the side, but I think I would prefer that over a new hole in the roof.
Thanks.

I think we all are gun shy about cutting or drilling into our coaches, but once you do it once or thrice seems to up confidence. I am not one of those yet who has either, so I sit back and nervously go YEAH I can do that.
