Does anyone keep a concise list of fixes/modifications they have done? Might give others some ideas.
Here is a list of what I have done to my 2018 Hurricane 29M.
* Reenforced shower floor through wheel well
* Tied up loose wires in wheel wells
* Installed FlowRite battery fill kit on house batteries
* Replaced stock thermostats with digital Honeywell residential units
* Replaced furnace vent in bedroom with one that has loovers.
* Replaced A/C control board that blew.
* Replaced blown LED ceiling light
* Installed ToGo Winegard WiFi/4G System
* Purchased remote access (WiFi) Thermometer (temp & humidity) to allow for remote monitoring of temperature and humidity.
* Setup WiFi smart plug to allow remote control of humidifier.
* Installed Waze security monitor camera
* Installed motion puck light in control cabinet.
* Purchased Telescopic Ladder
* Installed Fumoto oil drain valve
* Memory Foam Mattress Topper
* Lift assist for under bed storage
* Installed storage bin access port in drivers rear bay (for power cord access and EMS)
* Installed Snap Pads on jacks.
* Installed FlowRite battery fill kit on chassis battery.
* Installed new power plug (120VAC) under dinette table by wall. 18 Hurricane 29M.
Next project is to install a 120VAC power plug on the kitchen cabinet by the couch.
Anyone have other mod ideas?

I started this thread just to keep track of what I've done and when
Never thought the thread would get so big. Maybe one day I'll read through it to find everything I did to the mh
I've done most of what you did plus suspension upgrades, chf, rear track bar, and front sumo springs. Lots of minor comfort things not posted
With so many of us becoming friends on this threat it got lots of chit chat which makes it hard to find the mods. But friends are a good thing

Jerry,
I forgot to include on my list the CHF front and back.
There reason your list is so close to mine is that I followed your lead. When I got my rig I read through this entire thread and noted all of the things you did that I could see doing as well.
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. Would love to meet in person if our paths ever cross. We live near Atlanta but typically keep our rig in Hilton Head Island in SC. Let me know if you ever are in these locations.

Dave,
Jerry lives close to my daughter. Several months ago we met for lunch. It was great to meet in person. Jerry is a great guy who has helped me on many occasions.

Jerry has certainly helped me a bunch via his posts on many occasions.
We need a 29M meetup sometime perhaps!

Wanted to give you an update on my dimmer switch mod! The switch could not handle the load, started to make a crackling sound, so do not buy this product, I will have to do some additional homework before I try it again!!!

Dave, You need to install the rotating round vent in your AC cover. (Thought I had a picture but can’t locate it) This is a simple mod that allows more air output from the AC and also allows you to direct the flow better. I did this mod on both AC covers and it made a big difference. Maybe someone else who has done the mod will post a picture.
Maybe I overlooked it but you should also install a surge protector.
Also a water pump silencing kit which includes a surge tank, quiets the water pump and give you a more steady flow from your faucets.

Thanks for the heads up. I got the control but did not install it yet so no hole in the wall.
Let us know if you find a solution.

I think what you need is a 120v fan rheostat which will handle a higher load. This is a fan Control from Amazon which should handle the load easily: Midwest Hearth Fan Speed Control Kit | Fireplace and Stove Blowers | On/Off Variable Speed Controller with Rheostat Knob and Hardware. W. W. Grainger also carries a lot of variable speed switches which would work. Hope this helps!

Thank you! Been around, but have been very busy!!! Our youngest daughter who’s in the Air Force just moved back from Germany to Eglin AFB in Florida, we went down to help them move into their new house, glad that’s over. New grandson arriving on the 18th, leaving next Sunday to be there for the arrival. Ultrasound last week showed the new critter is already over 9 lbs, he’ll probably pop out with a mustache and say “Where’s the beer!!!”.
Had to put away all our summer toys and get ready for winter, have already had snow and temps in the low teens (global warming my ass).
Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Hi Dave,
I live near Atlanta also (north of the perimeter). I too, have benefited greatly from Jerry's mods and pictures.
