considering "Retro" stripes on my 2017 22FE

I'm considering removing all my THOR Freedom Elite strips/decals etc... and replacing with something that might have been factory in the 80's or so.

I've been searching online for ideas, but haven't found anything I really want to copy yet. These kind of what I'm thinking.

anyone have any ideas?

What colors will you be using?

I like it when the colors start out lightest on the bottom, and darken as the stack of stripes climb up the rig...
I like the idea, and can't wait to see what you cook up!

(That's CUTE little Winnie!)

You could go with the pastel green coloration that is popular these days:

or the green Winnebago look:

Ooh! or go orange with the old GMC RV look:

I like your idea. It’ll be cool, whatever you end up with.

I’d like to have a modern Tacoma with the vintage, Ironman Ivan Stewart graphics Toyota used to do.

Welcome to the forum. You've sparked interest in creative appearance. It seems that every coach today has to have swirls. Some retro straight stripes will look great.
Some rentals are ordered without graphics. The standard FE graphics look like this:

2017 Thor 24.1 Windjammer Blue Graphics

While on the subject of stripes & graphics. I do have a full set.. still in Thor boxes of original.... 2017 Thor 24.1 Windjammer Blue Graphics I would sell. If interested let me know! I love the Retro Idea!! *** my kids thought it was funny when we were at an RV. Show looking@ the Sprinters and the sales person said....." and No Elkhart Graffiti" that's what they call the graphics now comparing Motorhomes as we travel.

X2 for the Jamboree. I liked the blue Thor swoosh but it's dull brown for 2018.

The ‘81-‘83 SR5 stripes were inspired by the race graphic and are the style I like most.

James Dean Creations has a ton of retro stuff to look at.

I'm new to the RV forums and wasn't sure what kind of response I'd get, pleasant to hear everyone's ideas. I thought I might get a negative resale value replay.

anyway, made a blank picture of my 22FE with photoshop and going to draw a couple ideas today. plan is mostly browns/tans with a dark orange/metal bronze or something accent stripe...

I like your thinking! We redid our old 98 to look more modern. Of course then the DW surprised me and said "let's look for a newer MH. All the work paid off tho, got $16.5k for the Ol' girl. I have always liked the lower body belt a few coaches had on them. Then design some strips above that. Have fun with it! http://www.australianmotorhomes.com....A3275SL_01.jpg

Here's what we did with the 98. These guys were very nice to work with on producing a new design. http://www.rvsg.com/index.asp

Looks really good, and that's actually the company I got my color samples from. I do plan to buy my stripes through them.

This is what I came up so far, not happy yet... i'm going to keep looking.

also got me some V-10 emblems

Thor’s “Orange Crush” graphic is in those hues, if you want an idea of how they work together. My FW 24F has that colorway.

Sorry, not seeing a link in the original post. Just saw them in this quote reply, but can't get anything to open. You must be a car/truck guy. I see the "52 F-3" in your user ID. Me too.
