On the side window question, they measured the side windows on our Vegas 24.1 for a future interior set for us. They make both interior and exterior side window shades. Pricing is on their website and varies by RV model and fabric chosen. You also get a set of windshield wiper covers with the front shade.

We have the interior flip shades and they work great, we don't use our accordion shades anymore.

Gary,

You have a phone number?

I went to Austell Ga to get my Safe-T-Plus stablizer bar put on at the factory. THey did a great job, got a tour of the plant, watched them make 'em, asked questions and then they did the adjustments on the road until I felt all was great.

Soooo, not a problem to go to the Factory. Mocksville is not that far away.

I just called and left Roger a message. Looks like a road trip to Mocksville, now to find a neat campsite for the weekend.

Great picture. Thanks for posting it.

WNC,

Do you still have the measurements of your windshield? I have an early 2016 with the larger windshield...yours appears to be the same type (larger) windshield.

Doc, I think that the camera lens is distorting the picture a bit. I'm pretty sure that we have the smaller windshield.

You do have the smaller windshield. The larger one has glass above the shade when installed. That is the part that cannot be covered by the shade due to the configuration of the inside layout.

I just went out and measured. From top to bottom it is 65". Width starts at 78" at the bottom and then curves and flairs out to 84" at the top. Might be worth the time to drive to Mocksville and let them measure it.

WNC if you get the chance could I get you to measure top to bottom on your windshield?

Thanks to all for input.

When we called Magneshade (spoke to Ashley, the office manager and very nice), we asked specifically about the shade for the smaller windshield. She checked with the fabricator and explained how the shade was sized to allow appropriate placement of the magnets--meaning the larger windshields do have lack of coverage at the very top where the darker tint is.

I recommend giving them a call -- they really know their stuff and are great to work with. As previously mentioned, they made templates for our side windows when we were there to ensure they had correct measurements should anyone want to order those. We're contemplating interior shades as "one of us" doesn't want exterior magnets, which they use for the side shades.

Magnashade

We have a Magnashade. Ours is the bigger window and the shade fits just fine. We only bought the shade for the front.

The magnets are strong. Try to avoid getting them stuck together.

Magnashade

We have the 2015 Axis 24.1 and its windshield is larger than the newer models. It kinda looks like "Lowly Worm".

The newer windshields are about 6" shorter at the top. In an earlier thread someone posted a picture.

We have the windshield cover. Pleased with the easy installation. We gave them our make and model and they fitted the screen perfectly.
