Map/Picture for my Vegas

Twas in the Fabric Store yesterday to get some material for new curtains (and liners) when a map of the United States caught my eye. Sure it was fabric but I bought a piece of it. Then I stopped at the local craft store and grabbed a poster frame.

Marrying them together and using some velcro for hanging I have a conversation piece on a wall of the RV.

Cost: $25.00

Great idea! How about mounting it on a cork board, so you can stick pins in it for routes, destinations or "wanna go" places?

I had thought about a corkboard mount but the fabric material is so sheer that any glue or paste would have been absorbed by the material. Thus I settled for a poster frame which has a plastic cover.

As far as routes, etc., remember china makers? I got some left from my instructor days and can us them for routes, notes, etc. Just wipe off the mark with a damp napkin or towel.

A grease pencil or whiteboard markers may also work on that plastic.

Spray glue in aerosol cans used lightly will work for mounting it to a cork board. Spray both surfaces...wait a few seconds then press and roll out bubbles.
