USB Charging

Has anyone installed a USB charger that replaces the cigarette plug type? If so, how was the Install based on your rig? I’m thinking I’ll have to take of the dog house to get to the cigarette plug to remove and install a replacement.

Considering something like this http://https://www.amazon.com/USMEI-Waterproof-Voltmeter-Motorcycle-Tractors/dp/B07HVM8X1C/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?hvadid=241892327496&hvdev=t&hvlocp hy=9019638&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=e&hvrand=10363 126071084791750&hvtargid=kwd-12048022548&keywords=12v+usb+power+outlet&qid=1555 981290&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1

Might be a lot easier drilling a new hole installing your new usb and have both. That is what I did.
Still has factory look.

JJmon - installed nearly the same unit (only blue lite) just like RevJeffery did.
Drill hole run lines directly to your battery bank. I added a switch above it to be able to kill any draw and drop the volt meter lite.

I installed this guy for one of the 12V outlets (Its pretty much the same thing you linked to):

Far right, showing 14.2V.

It did require enlarging the hole just a tad.

Good question! We'll never use the 12V plug (besides our coach has two right there--to the left of the USB/voltmeter is another 12V plug) so I figured just replace it.
