I saw a post on a dual voltmeter to monitor the chassis and house batteries. Thinking of doing this on our 2016 Miramar.

Is there a house battery line under the dash to tap into? Hopefully I won’t have to run a line from the house battery compartment to the dash.

Appreciate any advice.

JamieGeek did this. The radio is powered by the house batteries and the power port (cig lighter) is from the chassis, but double check back at the 12v fuse panel in the house per distribution box.

I put one of these (Amazon) on and it only monitors the chassis voltage (The main panel already has a house voltage monitor).

On our RV both house and chassis power goes to the radio (house goes to the radio's main power and chassis goes to the keep alive wire).

I've got this waiting to be installed... Picked this one as I have an available 'knowkout' this shape/size in dash.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072QZPKLG

Plan to tap off the radio power - receives chassis power for 'keep alive' (always on) and house power for operation (use/store on)
Plan to add a relay that will only energize the chassis side of circuit when use/store is in 'use' - to not become a full time drain on chassis battery.

I installed one of these on my Thor sprinter chassis. As the sprinter chassis has almost no gauges only idiot lights. Found out that my chassis battery was only putting out 10.9 V when the ignition was off. Heading out to Napa right now for a new chassis battery. The one I purchased from Amazon not only has the digital display it has two high-capacity USB charging ports for my iPad.
