Fe dream dinette with the plywood panels removed.

It was an easy fix to remove the backs.

Would you mind explaining the step by step process? I have a 22fe and would surely be interested to read more about it. May be able to know where to start and tackle the job myself. I'm not that tall 5'10" but little on the larger side. Lost 25 lbs. and still losing more but still about 235 and sure would be nicer to be able to move my drivers seat back and inch more or so.

We keyed off the back side of the plywood, then cut the back off at seat level. He cut the drawer unit shorter and made a shorter drawer.
In my older posts, I have images. For some reason I can't upload the photo.

Thank's Rhonda. What to you mean by "keyed" off? On the plate, I bought a base plate for passenger seat that I installed that rotates so passenger seat can be rotated to face living area. Very convenient mod to have an additional seat. Was easy remove seat and bolt on to bottom of passenger seat and re-install. Only thing with mod is, once rotated, fits very snuggly to passenger door. Door closes but snuggly against arm rest of seat. Works good though and happy with it.

We moved the passenger seat a few inches to the center and 3in. toward the back. It is really comfortable.

Here is a collection of images from my older posts. I have registered the cushions, but using a comforter for the first try was ok. Now I have professional upholstery fabric with cording, but I may have to recover it again after a few years. Too bad I can't sew leathers.Click image for larger version
