I ended up replacing the outlet for the front TV. Plenty of room to add a proper box for the USB outlet that has an open back.

Biggest hassle was opening up the hole in the paneling to fit the box . I'm sure some people would just tape over the screws on the back of the outlet and call it good

Ya'll know you can buy USB outlets that are powered by the 12 volt battery/buss?

Then you don't have to be on SP or Gen to use the outlets.

Yes but since we have a built-in inverter it's easier to just replace the 110 outlet than find 12V, add a new USB only outlet, etc.
