Odd Bolts in Floor of Slide

My rig is a 2014 Outlaw 37LS toy hauler. I removed the loveseat from the slide and have freestanding recliners.

When i removed the loveseat I observe 5 bolts that are coming up from the bottom side of the slide. These do not appear to hold anything in place and no such bolts exist on the other half of the slide where the dinette resides.

We are in process of planning vinyl planking over the linoleum and we think these bolts can go away - maybe they are a modification the prior owner did, we have no idea.

I had bolts like that that were to bolt the seat belts to the floor. Looks like someone removed the seat belts .

Youu can always pull them out, and see if anything moves (that shouldn't!).

Interesting.... that may have been what they are for, but none like that on the dinette. side that still has seat belts. When i removed the loveseat/bed there were no seatbelts.... this makes logical sense...Thanks for your input!

Yeah...that's kind of where i am at with it right now...the fear of something not working after flooring is done and holes covered concerns me....but i really see no functional use for these - except possibly for seat belts as mentioned by another response.... Thanks!

They are for sure the seat belt bolts. If you don't want seat belts you can remove them and install flat head stove bolts from the top down, same diameter into the holes to plug them up. Coat the new ones with sealant before installing. Your adhesive for the new floor will fill in any small indentation on the surface. Also, make sure you grind the bottom (outside under the slide) off as low as you can so the extrusion doesn't hit anything along the way in and out.

Thanks for the input.... we will fill the hole and the vinyl plank will cover them completely. We will never need seat belts there again with the way we now have recliners we move off the slide then parked.
