Ovehead Cabinet Door Decoration

Since I got the Vegas I've been puttering here and there with slights and mods to make the Vegas more user friendly and appealing. One of the mods was to put contact-like vinyl chalkboard on the kitchen cabinet doors.

Decided to take it a step further and do the same treatment to the cabinet doors over the recliners. However decided to only use the chalkboard on two of the cabinets. For the center one I removed the panel and inserted some decorative "grill" material, painted the original panel a bright color and reinstalled it in the frame. Hot glue does the trick.

That looks nice. Show us some pictures of the calk board as well.

I thought about adding some real wood trim to various areas to make my Axis look more upscale. But I figure in a year or two the factory trim may need repair/replacing and I will just upgrade it as needed.

Love to see more ideas for fixing up Axis/Vegas interiors. Trim and decor.

The doors to the left and right of the center grillwork are vinyl chalkboard.

Oh, it was hard to see. Oops.

You shoud write on one of them "Hello Thor Forum" or put you repair/mod list on the other one (but you might need a longer chalk board for that one - LOL).
