Quick insulation Project

I had some insulation left from another project, so I decided to cut two pieces to fit the front side windows. 15-20 minute project. You can purchase a roll at home repair stores. Don't remember the cost.Click image for larger version

Did same thing but I did every window in our coach, including vents and shower sky light. Lol

I used Velcro circles for some of the cover the others I cut them to fit into the groove of window frames, what a difference this makes.

How did you get the Velcro to stay stuck, mine keeps coming off from either the window or the insulation. I used the heavy duty Velcro.

So far I've only had one come off. I guess I'm lucky in that.[emoji113]

I was told by someone "who knew everything", sometime back, that heat can build up between that metallic material and the glass in the center area of the material and cause the glass to blow out. He knows everything but not sure it this is true.

I suppose that is possible, but I have been doing it for three years now and haven't had a problem. There are others in the storage lot doing the same. I would like to hear id anyone has had that problem. They are not much different than the metallic auto shades.

Does anyone else remember when Rocky the Squirrel introduced Bullwinckle with "And now, Mr. Know-it-all!"? We all know at least one.
