Recommendations for 29FE hose storage mounting

Hello All.

I just ordered this waste hose storage from D&W (link below) and was looking for suggestions where to mount it on my 29FE. I haven't been under it yet. Is it amenable to mounting such a device? Thanks in advance for advice.

Joe

So why didn't you put the hose in your bumper. That's why they are 4" square. I have two lengths of that same hose in the bumper. No need for the storage tube you bought.

Mine won't go into the bumper because of the way the mudflap has been installed. It was screwed into the bottom of the bumper and the screws go into the bumper cavity.

When I had a Bumper, I mounted ours with these.

I am looking for a means to store the hoses AND related accessories completely out of the three storage compartments and the accessories won't fit in the bumper. Everything should fit in the tube except the sidewinder which I will store in a bag in one of the storage locations.

Recommendations for 29FE hose storage mounting

I mounted a tube on top of the bumper, on a Four Winds 31E. Mounted on top because of a lack of places underneath for hole alignment, etc.

I store my clear discharge elbow, clean out cap, donut gasket, extra seals in a small clear tote with latches on the lid. Worked Great to keep those items seperated., In the basement of our 5th wheel . Now in our Challenger it stays separate in the rear compartment, along with the hoses, where the aft sewer discharge is located.

I have my potable water hoses, filter, y-gate, pressure Gage, extra gaskets in a clear tub, with lid latches.

Another tub for TV cable, solar path lights, dog bone adapters, short extention cord, multi outlets/surge protector,

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like you are well organized and I am going to make similar choices.

One question. How do you assemble the potable water path using the y connector and the pressure gauge?

I'll post a pic tomorrow, we're set up at a local campground , doing a test run with my 88 Y/O Mother in Law to see if she can be comfortable enough, to take her to the beach.
She said she would like to go to the beach, one more time !

Went with the D&W item indicated in the first post. It mounted nicely to the back bumper. I have enough room for two hose sections with bayonet fittings, the 90 degree elbow and the adapter for various connection sizes. Fit my needs perfectly and keeps all waste-related items out of the under carriage storage which in the 29fe is a bit limited. Thanks to all for the guidance.

hose storage

Hi, i also store my hose in the bumper.
i read that your mud flap screws protrude into the bumper.
why not remove them and replace with threaded rivets AKA squeeze nuts.
shame to waste all that space.
