replace awning windows with sliders

Looking to get more natural airflow into the motorhome. Flat awning windows look good but have very little airflow. anyone ever replace their windows with sliders? my old motorhome had sliders and we liked them much better. I see there is a company near Seattle that supposedly makes replacement rv windows.

Are you referring to the "frame-less, pop out at the bottom windows? They are restrictive to air flow but you'll get a lot less chance of leaking with them and you can use them even if it's raining. But to answer your question, if you can find a window of any type that will fit the cutout, it can be installed. Check with Thor for the exact dimension of your raw cutout first.

I am just the opposite when it comes to RV windows I guess. I like the awning style windows because if it is raining I can still have them open, or if we are gone and it starts raining I don't have to worry if we left them open.

If seeking additional air flow maybe investigate the price of putting in a Fantastic fan (vent) or if you have one already maybe an additional one. When we are running 2 of our Fantastic fans and have our awning windows open we get a ton of air.

x2 Had both for me awning only way to go. The fact that there is No rattling windows while traveling is also a Huge Plus! Enjoy the "Open Road".
