Has anyone done floor lighting?

Our C class has a step (don't know if the A class does) Just past the kitchen area. My wife & I have tripped up or unexpectedly stepped off this thing. We are getting used to it, but when the slide is in while traveling you need to slide sideways down the hall to get to the bathroom. That makes it hard to keep your eyes on the step.
Anyone have a "classy" looking light(s) they know of to install? My wife likes the idea of a short string of led "seed" lights. But they are just 3v AA powered. I would like something 12v wired in.

Auto parts stores carry "eyebrow" lights, incandescent or LED. Simple to wire in.
Recently I was looking at a motorhome with that step by the kitchen, walking forward looking thru a camera I launched off into space at that step. Must take a little getting used to.

Thanks. Yup, it does. One floor plan we looked at had the fridge to the left of the stove with a step right there where they met. We axed that one.

Are you looking more for something like this: 12V LED Strip light (Amazon). Heck for $6 I'd order a few just to see where else I could put them.

I had thought about those, but they look "unfinished". BUT, I saw this one from your like that looks nicer

Cool--either would work (looks like they both have self-adhesive on the back). Depending on where you put them they could be hidden until lit up.

check a boat store, such as west marine..... or online. Lots of options for 12VDC hardwired deck lighting
or search ebay for "courtesy light" or similar variations

I mounted one of these:

...next to the entrance door to light the stairs when it detects motion. Charges the built-in battery with a USB cable and the charge lasts a long time. Lights up the stairwell at night very nicely.
