Air vs Sumo/mods/warranty n insurance

I notice it seems like most folks go with Sumo springs instead of the hassle of
Air and compressor?

Pros? Cons ?(obviously the one above to start is the first pro and con)
and is this and any subsequent covered by insurance as a legit mod?

So another initial mod is the CHF.
My fam says will not ride if not in writing as not voiding the warranty and in writing from ins that I can do CHF, install track bar, sway bar myself

Porsche/Vette club family members have this discussion all the time at their mtgs and the insurance says no go.

Thoughts?

Hahahahah true dat Cap'n ! but it is a legit question? Unfortunately family are old school disaster mongers that fear not being made whole should an accident occur on a modified vehicle.

IMO if the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act did not allow for these modifications we would have seen posts on this forum about Thor/Ford declining warranty work.

Insurance is there to make you whole in case of an accident, even if you caused the accident. There is no "thou shalt not modify thy vehicle" clause.
