2019 Chateau 22b solar install?

Supposedly our 2019 chateau 22b was prepped for solar. I don't know what that means. What do I need to do to install solar panels on our rv?

In most cases prepared for solar simply means they ran the wires from the roof to a location somewhere within the coach or in a storage compartment for a controller. Most coaches that i have seen sold in that manner had a tag in the general area of where the solar controller wiring was located.

As to adding solar you need to get the panel(s) and controller and once the panel(s) are mounted on the roof it should pretty much be plug and play.

There are kits available (Renogy has some pretty complete ones); that you can buy on Amazon...
Panels, wiring, mounting brackets, and a controller... You'll be all set!

If you look under your hood or in the battery compartment - you should find some larger red and white or red & black wires UN-attached these will more than likly go to your roof for the solar hookup.
