37RB Floor and wall separation over front tires

Found on the last trip, 12,000+ mils/9 months old, we had a 1/4” gap on the passenger side floor/wall joint. All the screws were broken. (LA and MS roads) I’ve decided on bolts to pull it back together but don’t have access to the inside of the floor frame for the nuts due to the aluminum sheet. I plan to drill holes with a hole saw to allow the nuts to be installed, then cover the holes and add heat shield to the aluminum sheet as the floor gets noticeably warm.(planned on this anyway)

Chime in if I’m missing something and/or you’ve dealt with this.

Good Morning -

Not sure if you have checked the Outlaw threads on iRV2.com, but there is a wealth of knowledge on all things Outlaw... Here is one specifically dealing with the side-wall separation issues... Good luck

If the rig is still under warranty: now would be a good time to see how good that warranty is!

Thanks for the link crey0517. Just finished the repair pretty much like the link suggested but before I read the link.
