Step Pads - Customer Service

I recently purchased a set of Step Pads for the MH. While on our trip last weekend, I decided we should install, as we had a lazy Saturday of rest and relaxation.

The two on the pass side went on very easy, the front drivers had a struggle getting to lock. NOW...the drivers rear pad itself is concaved for some reason, and I thought it locked. Raised pad, stayed on, and checked to verify it was on.

Well, get home from a two hour drive and that left rear pad is missing.

Get on the Internet, sent Step Pad a message to get cost on one replacement pad. After a few emails back and forth with Ms. Barbara from Customer Service, she said she would send me one at no cost and shipped at NO COST.

I was willing to pay, but she said she would take care of it, and threw in some helpful advice to go along with the issue.

It's been a while since I have encountered Customer Service like that, and It was great to deal with Step Pads.

Do you mean Snap Pads?

I just put some on our rig this afternoon. I agree. Their customer service is stellar.

That is good customer service.... and good to know!

If they are SnapPads, I have had mine on for about 10 months with no issues.

When I installed mine I did two things to make sure they were on and locked in place:

1) Put Dawn dish soap around the opening of the SnapPads so they slipped over the jack pads easier.

2) My driveway is gravel so I put a piece of wood under the SnapPad before I lowered the jack to make sure it was level and had a firm base.

They went on without any issue. They locked into place and they would be tough to remove.
