When I remember to use a filter I just put it on the outside of the coach--Axis/Vegas units don't come with a built in filter. Try to get a new filter every season.

As far as the hose: We get a yearly report of the city's water and its always very clean--well under EPA specs (we're on Detroit water which is some of the cleanest water in the nation); and before you start making those Flint, MI jokes: Flint's problem started when they disconnected from the Detroit water supply. So the water coming out of the hose is pretty good--its just the hose that adds contaminants ! LOL

If you can't eat them: I wonder what you're supposed to do?

Tickle them between their 4th & 5th eyeballs, and sing them a song?

Water filter

I have a 31W C class and Thor decided to have fun and put ours behind kitchen sink and behind the drawers and it’s so far back I can’t even reach it with the drawers out. They must have put it in the placed the cabinet around it. I bet the person who did that must have thought where can I put this to frustrate the buyer

If you watch the videos from most manufacturers, they install everything in the coach...appliances, cabinets...everything....then they install the sides of the coach and cover everything from the outside. It's a simple fix to get to anything...just remove the entire side of the coach...!

Do you prefer the "SawZall" method?
Or maybe just a chainsaw?

They should have fold down sides.

I think I’ll just cut a big square hole on the side and put an access door there. 🤣

Where's the best placement for the Camco External Water filter at the water shoreline spicket or at the hook up on the RV? Or does it matter?

I put mine at the spigot to minimize unnecessary weight on the rigs fresh water connection.

As EA said at the campground hose bib.
We install a pressure regulator than the water filter.
