Note that the arms on an Axis or Vegas are all chrome and thus any clamping on them like that may scratch them.

Thanks Jamie, just looking for a better way to be safe. The mirrors are just to short to to see much☹️

I've never seen a single arm extender like that, that didn't vibrate so bad it was unusable.

A friend helped me craft a 1" spacer to push the right mirror out on our Vegas. It didn't go quite far enough, but does help give better vision around the awning arms.
The reason this applies to Vegas and Axis is that the front is tapered, and the mirror arms aren't longer to compensate.
