Smile Tire minder system

Anyone here run the Tire Minder set up?
I bought the Tire Minder TM 77-6 system yesterday.
I haven’t tried to set it up yet. I plan to get to that this coming week.
Just curious of any advice about install / set up I should be aware of as well as if
It all works as things are advertised.
If all works well, I plan to pick up a couple more pressure senders / transmitters for the
closed in trailer for when I want to haul the motorcycle.
I think that would be a good thing since having a flat tire back
behind the MH may go unnoticed for ample time to get stopped.
Especially if I haven’t noticed the rear camera.
Thanks in advance.

Read the manual, especially the part about not loosing the manual as you will always need it whenever you want to make a change. I've had mine for 8 years and still refer to it after periods of non use.

Yeah, when I got my RV, I got an hardback notebook and put all the manuals in it, covered in plastic. The rest of the notebook is devoted to recalls, sales receipts for warranties, shortcuts for maintenance, electrical, fresh water / drain diagrams and any repairs I may need to do. Actually it's two notebooks cause it's so much information. Fortunately I typed a Table of Contents on each book.

Tupelo,

Where did you purchase your Tireminder? What was the cost if you don't mind?

Well, I made a post with a few questions.
The replies were questions or other info and good advice about keeping my book.
At this point, I have to take it that everyone loved their
TM system or everyone is ashamed to say because they don't like it.
Thanks anyway.

I bought a Tireminder system for my TT over 10 years ago: easy to setup and worked great until the battery in the receiver went bad. At that time they were non-replaceable. I understand they have made them replaceable now?

Hey nosticks, sure do. Give me your written endorsement if you can.
I see your reply about keeping the book. That's great advise.
I guess I was hoping for a little detail but guess I can't explain myself very well.

Hi Ted,
Thanks for your reply.
Not sure yet if they are replaceable. I haven't opened the box yet.
Been busy with life but hope to try it very soon.
Thanks again Sir.

The battery in my TireMinder Bluetooth receiver is not replaceable but is rechargeable.

Hi John,
Since I haven't dug into this yet, is this (Bluetooth) an option that can be added to the TM system?
Thanks again Sir.

Yes. It would replace the basic receiver and also connect to your smartphone or tablet via the TireMinder app.
