Maybe a case of how the question was asked and answered. The TV will work when the generator is running. It won't work while the generator is running while driving. Possible slight of mouth or thin line answer on the part of the dealer.

There is normally a safety switch that is connected to the parking brake or ignition switch. Check if the TV will come on with the engine running, generator running and the parking brake set. If it does then release the parking brake and the TV should turn off.

I will try that. I did check the outlets with the gernerator on and they all worked. I tried the tv and it worked as well. I do remember finding cable unhooked but cant remember if it was before or after. I will try the parking brake idea and see if it works then or not.

I can't believe there hasn't been a hack posted about this yet. My new thor 30d shuts tv's off with the ing. on. I am going to solve this riddle tonight and report back.
Cheers!

Found a fix!

I found the fix. On my class C I found a fuse under the hood. Removed it and problem solved. I will update if it kills anything other that the TV. So far so good.

The picture seems to be broken. Can you post another one of the fuse? I want to disable this feature so the kids can watch movies, and one day satellite.

We have a 2017 Axis 25.2, in our unit the tv does work with the generator running while driving...

Mine doesn't work with the generator running while driving. That fuse also disabled the chassy charging the house batteries while driving.

Yes that is the fuse and location for my 2018 thor outlaw 29h as well. thanks for this. huge help! very hard tracing down the romex and relay location. this was much easier. this also allows the slide to move now while the ignition key is on/in run position so people be aware.

I think you have to engage cruise control before TV will work while driving. They don't want you slowing down and speeding up all the time. It impedes traffic.

Just stream the video to your I-Pad, and find a spot for it on the dash...

It'll give you and the Law Enforcement Officers, something to talk about!

Hey, i pulled that fuse and yes it allows power to the tv/dvd player outlet while the coach engine is running but it controls a relay from closing and allowing power from the engine alternator to charge the coach batteries. i found this out today because i had to move the rv. when i originally pulled the fuse i just turned the keyswitch to on while i was plugged into shore power so i did not see the batteries not getting charged by alternator. SO i need to look more into this combinations of relays. just have to make time.

I'm afraid to go pulling fuses...no telling what may not work at 70MPH. Just run a small extension cord to the TV from another outlet in the kitchen or somewhere close for the times you want to watch TV while driving.

Prior MH, the power outlet for the TV contained a relay in the connector box that the TV plugged into. Relay opened power contacts when ignition was on.
I Started the engine when on shore power and TV also went away.

At the time of that post we did have an Axis 25.2, we now have a 2018 Hurricane 29m. Our tv's in the Hurricane work while driving whether on the inverter or the generator.
