Replace TVs

Lowe's had great prices on 40" and 32" Samsung TVs for black Friday. As these just happen to be the size of the TVs in my 2017 Windsport 34J and I am fed up with trying to make the POJ Seiki TVs connect to RV park cable, I sprung for one of each. Any tips or tricks I need to know before I try to figure out how to remove the Seiki TVs.

Yes, be very CAREFUL when replacing the outside TV. The HDMI connection for the new TV comes right out of the back of the TV and got bent on the motorhome wall when being installed. On the old set, the cable came out of the side and traveled straight down. I accidentally damaged the HDMI cable and had to invest in a wireless system. You cannot just replace the damaged cable as it is woven into the fabric of the motorhome and can’t come out. Get a 90 degree HDMI connection Good Luck, it was definitely worth the change.

Get one of the swiveling HDMI connectors, they will bend 90 degrees.

Yes, be very careful when removing the old TV's. The service loop on the cables are about a foot or less and if you pull it too hard it will pull the connector out of the back. Don't ask how I know!

You may also want to upgrade to MorRyde mounts.
