Under sink water filter

One thing I hated about the 2018 Citation Sprinter was the location of the full system water filter. Ridiculous and was was removed. I see no reason to filter the entire waster system, toilet, shower. Looking at this unit that can be mounted easily in one of the storage closet located directly below the sink, accessible from the outside. For drinking & cooking.

Any thoughts?

I agree, not a bad idea, some systems remove more through their filters than others, like a reverse osmosis used in a household.

But then... I would be checking all that, and cost of the replacement filters, also checklist it as a winterizing target.
Remove filters and drain lines, I don't think I would want the taste of that anti-freeze, stuck in the drinking water system.

Our Outlaw had the filter hidden away somewhere under the sink...
Our new rig has it in a much more handy spot!

We just use a quality hose in-line water filter. I figure the carcinogen-filled air that China is sending us, along with the radiation-filled waterlife from Japan showing up on west coast shores, really is miniscule in the scheme of life. JMHO

Just as in Mexico...DON'T DRINK THE WATER. With so many unknown sources entering your system, we don't drink the water from the tank. I carry cases of Crystal Springs and use that for coffee and drinking. My coach has a whole system water filter and came with a spare but I don't even know where the filter is located. I read a story not too long ago about a derelict that got pissed at his neighbor in a campground and poured urine in his gravity feed water port. A neighbor saw it and immediately reported. The cops took care of it but his water system was instantly out of service.

There's another way to keep that from happening:
