Gutter for Awning Channel

Ok, I find J channel that uses foam tape but would need to affix it to the rolled edge of the roof material.

I find awning channel that has a gutter bent into it but would require me to remove the existing awning channel.

Any such thing as a gutter/j channel that can slide into the awning channel?

My awning channel runs the length of the RV. Would be perfect to avoid the dripping off the edge and maring up the sides.

Looked everywhere pretty much. Thought I’d ask those in the know.

I've had those j channels in my cart for weeks wondering the same thing!

I use the J channel but run it the length of the roof mounted topside
Works great for me
I’ve considered adding spouts adhered on all 4 ends with Sikaflex adhesive
It would work fine
When I do it I’ll post photos

I once owned a Forest River Trailer that had a very nice factory gutter system that slid into the railing and had attaching spouts.
But the Thor’s railing doesn’t seem to accommodate a “slide-in” gutter with spouts
So we look for other options

The idea has some merit but yeah, that looks dumb as hell. I might try something similar with a black 1/2 inch sprinkler hose.

Not the best solution but Think I’ll stick with the J Trim-Lok Drip Rail, Black – 1/2” Height, 25’ Length – PVC Plastic Rain Gutter for Cars, Vans, and RVs, Easy to Install Flexible Drip Rail Molding to Control Water Runoff, Durable 3M Tape Included

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CJRGX5M/

Not flat on the roof though since I dont want water puddling up there depending on my levelness.

Will blend in better and look more OEM

It helps but its only a little J. With my color scheme blends in quite nicely.
