Vegas Drop Down Bunk Mattress

I would like to replace the mattress in the forward drop down bunk with a memory foam mattress.
Has anyone found one for a Vegas or Axis that will fit in the box yet still allow the bunk to close flush with the ceiling ?
I understand some folks have used a thicker mattress and modified the safety pin locations , I don't really want to do that.
