Vegas Windshield Wipers path

When we were hit by an unexpected snow storm last week we really noticed how bad a design flaw in the Vegas is. Because the drivers side wiper is below the passenger side, the top of the arc is a ways from the side post. The passenger side comes pretty close. This results in the last 6 inches or so of windshield that doesn't get cleared. Combine that with the thick post and you have a significant blind spot for winding roads.

If the wipers arms were reversed with the passenger side on the bottom, it would not be much of an issues as that section isn't as important for driving. The arms obviously can't be switched, had anyone seen different arms or another fix?

The drivers side cannot be adjusted up, or it will hit the other one.
I tried calling Thor but the wait was too long.

Not a design problem but an assembly problem: My Axis has the opposite problem: The drivers side wiper goes too far and smacks against the post.

We had the same problem with our 2015 Axis 24.1.
Assuming that in "park" position your blades are parallel.
Our interim solution was to angle the "park" position up on both wipers to allow for more window coverage on the upper end. This does means less coverage down low.
It took several tries to get the sweet spot, where we have coverage, and they don't hit each other or the side posts.

It would appear that there are two configurations. If you Google Image "Thor 24.1" you'll see some have the posts at the far left and right. And some have the passenger post almost centered on the rig.

Our driver's side wiper sits higher than the passenger side one.
