WifiRanger

Can someone with a WifiRanger Elite with a Go2 tell me if you get signal sitting outside the coach under the awning? How far away from the Go2 or main antenna can you be and still access the signal?

Actually I am also looking at the PDQ Connect wifi for RV. It looks like it also works pretty long range. Would like to hear from anyone with this system about how well it reaches outside the coach.

I don't have those particular systems - I use a Ubiquiti Picostation to a Linksys Router - but would expect them to have no issues connecting from outside the coach.
The challenge with these devices is not the ability to connect devices to them - but their ability to get to a good internet connection. (looks like the Go2 adds a cellular option? that should help when wifi isn't up to par.)

I have certainly been able to see, connect, use wifi connections at multiple campgrounds that my individual devices couldn't see or weren't strong enough to connect to... and the convenience of not having to reprogram each device for a new internet connection was great (easily 10 devices on board).

Whether the connections would hold up to traffic depended much more on what I was connecting to.
(Campground this winter had a new system from Camplink... worked GREAT the first two weeks (late December) - but as the park filled in Jan - just couldn't handle the load... Granted it was their first season with the system - and hoping Camplink makes some improvements based on our conversations for next season... but same Linksys router easily took a connection from Comcast cable modem to pick up the load.)
