Wasp Begone, Bee Begone
Did I leave anything out?
Has anyone found or invented an ingenious way to deter wasps and bees from building nests in your RV while it's in storage?
I know some of you will come back with 'yeah, keep moving' (Bob) and we'll both get a laugh but that's not what I need/mean

We used Peppermint oil on cotton swabs last year: not a single unwanted intruder!

We used it around our rig, and inside our storage shed. (A favorite place for those "winged chainsaws" to build!)
It also kept the mice and chipmunks out!

I use mothballs in all outside storage bins which works great at keeping insects and mice away. I also have a screen over my furnace exhaust...search RV furnace screen on Amazon...about $12.00 and works great.
The moth balls have 2 bags in a box and I just just place a bag in every access area around the RV. I even placed a couple under the hood when storing for the winter. After my problems from last winter I now place them in the generator compartment as well.
I started using the moth balls years ago to keep the mice out but have found they also keep all insects out.

Thank you! Went out there today to try to do some things and had to keep dodging the little critters. They dive bomb you if you invade 'their' space. I thought about using wasp spray but don't know what it'll do to the coach's finish in this blazing sun.
I taped the fridge vents for now, wrote myself a note and taped it to the fridge. Picked up some insect screen and working through a way to attach it without leaving 'in roads' or making a mess of things.

If you want to kill flying critters quickly: try brake cleaning fluid!
No kidding... They die quicker than if you dropped a safe on them!
(I learned this from finding out that I had no Wasp-Killing products in my garage, and needed to try something else... )

If you think that putting that in their ears it tough: you only have to do this to the females...
Try checking up under their skirts!

Try it without the lighter first. It might keep you from burning down your back yard!

Forgot where I got it but remember it wasn't a pharmacy. Then again maybe in your city who knows?

It was EPIC!! We had flaming bees trying to get out of there, a ball of fire right along the side of the garage, and the neighbors wanting to call the Fire Department!

There may have been a bit of overkill involved; but it was an EPIC scene!
It's just too bad that we didn't have a camera...
We DID have to re-paint his garage: the scorch marks were a bit... alarming!
