Apps for RVers
If anyone is interested here is an article on some useful RV apps.
http://rvlife.com/rv-trip-planning-apps/
The article is a little misleading because some of the items are3 apps while others are web sites.

Good article.
Typically to plan road trips I use the Roadtrippers website & app: Roadtrippers.com. It has a ton of campgrounds in it and a bunch of quirky road side attractions; all of which you can attach to your trip.

Everybody has their favorites. Here are a few of mine:
TripAdvisor for food and entertainment
RV Parky to find campgrounds and places that allow free overnight parking
AllStays Camp and RV to find campgrounds and campgroundreviews.com
I have used Waze to show traffic problems.
There are many leveling aps, I use Bubble.
RV Dumpstations will show you dump stations, both free and $.
Compass
Altimeter
TV Antenna finder
RV Checklist is customize-able. First on my do not forget list, SPOUSE!

I haven't purchased it yet, but RV pocket reference looks like a nice little app.

Perfect for finding fuel, stores, etc and great for checking traffic and even just checking the GPS. The Waze!

I have a few apps but I have been lately just asking "Ok Google" (Apple and Windows also have a voice assistant) for what I want. So far so good.

The problem I've found with Waze is that is it best used by a navigator, not a driver. It is too distracting with info like "item at side of the road in 2 miles".

I ignore much of the notices and usually never try to post feedback but I found the traffic info to be very accurate and invaluable in metro areas, but you are right, most of the time I ask my son to check it for me if we are underway in the RV. Seems the motor home takes much more of my attention than our other vehicles.

I actually use the Garmin RV 760LMT because it avoids the places my rig won't fit. In fact, it helped last trip to Portland where it routed me on a truck bypass to avoid a low bridge.

An app that I came across last year is Weather on Wheels which was developed by Texas A&M.
Enter your starting point and destination and it will give you the weather along the normally used route. By clicking on one of the weather icons it will provide details such as temperature wind speed etc...
You can even go further by entering your departure time for a little more accuracy.

CoPilot is hands down the best navigation app I have found for RV Navigation.
All the others will route you on parkways and roads that will shave a few inches of the top and sides of your RV. You can create a profile of your vehicles and select things to avoid. I tell it how how my vehicle is and that I want to avoid propane restricted tunnels etc. It does an excellent job - traffic too!
