First Trip!

Went on our first trip. Happy to report all went well! Everything worked. Nothing broke. Although we did forget a few things, they are now on the list. Only went about 3 hours from home and spent 7 days in Cape May NJ. Very happy with the coach and can't wait to get back out.

That's great! How was Cape May (have a trip coming up there--which campground did you stay at?)?

We love Cape May! Lots of good food, great beaches, lots of wildlife areas (if you are into that, I am) Easy to hop on the ferry and get to Lewes Delaware.

I stayed at https://www.sunrvresorts.com/resorts...rsey/seashore/ people were friendly and was pretty quiet, the weekend was busy. Its about a 9min drive from the campground to downtown Cape May. Go to Sunset beach for the sunset. and Higbee beach is dog friendly if you have one.

If you have any other questions I'll be happy to answer them.

Thanks. We'll be staying at The Depot Travel Park--it looked to be the closest (a bike ride away even).

Yes it is! I was going to stay there, it was a toss up. I'll look forward to your review.

The Oyster bar is a very nice restaurant (need reservations). Also Delaney's is a good place to eat and The Ugly Mug. Have fun!

Congrats...beautiful coach! Pray you have many great trips. We're delayed getting out of TX for the summer, but glad to be heading out today for a week at Sea Rim St Park on the Gulf. Hey, I'm just grateful to get out of the driveway!

Well here we are at The Depot Travel Park in Cape May.

Have to say everyone here has been super nice. The campground is what you would expect for something so close to the city (its a short 1 mile away--people walk, bike, golf cart there every day).

The site we're in is kind of small--our water hookup is under our neighbors shade tent. We can put slide & awning out so it isn't that small, just the hookups are kind of spread out.

(as you can see: the water and electrical connection at left is the neighboring site's.)

Sounds great! Its nice to be close to everything. Don't forget to check out sunset beach at sunset. And Wildwood is a short drive away to get the Boardwalk experience. I love Cape May!

I've got to get our rig down to South Jersey...
I've got an old College Co-Conspirator buddy, who keeps his boat in a marina down in Cape May.
We used to go fishing for Drumfish!

Congratulations! Ill have to add Cape May to to our East Coast plans. We like the Sun RV Resorts we've been to. Seem to be consistently good people and resorts.

We liked the one that we stayed at... It was in Narvon, Pa.
Lake in Woods Resort.
