Been used for many r/c flying events... Holds a LOT of airplanes ...
Daughter's volleyball tournaments (those are in the past now)...
An occasional NASCAR race...
Portable hotel when we visit family (added an RV outlet at the in-laws...)
With an upcoming move to Florida - likely add 'guest house' and 'hurricane evacuation plan' (and it IS a Hurricane...)

We took the kids (35 and 40 years old) to the zoo and then had a very nice picnic in a grass field near by. Last time we all been to the zoo together must be 25 years ago or longer. DW loved it more than any one. Time well spent...

We are using it to extend our motorcycle travels. There are numerous places in Florida and up the east coast we want to ride. Having the 5th wheel you either take it or leave it at home and load the bike up and stay in motels. Now we simply trailer the Harley behind the coach. This allows us to stay in an area for several days and get all of our desired riding in.

We use ours to tow racecar to track. Nice to have somewhere to cool off during single day events. For multi day events is great to skip leaving car at track and going home or to hotel.
We have taken two trips to Fort Wilderness and have 3rd planned. Cheaper than WDW hotel, even factoring gas. Nice to take our 2 dogs and not need to carry stuff up to room.
Now keeping stocked to travel on moments notice. The freedom is fantastic.

Traveling to college football games a few times this season, and overnighting there. Not really camping or much tailgating. More like comfortable travel and sleeping parked in a large lot. It made it possible to attend games though.

Made the neighbors jealous when power in our neighborhood went out for about 18 hours during the Texas summer!!! Power went out about 7p, when we saw it wasn't going to be fixed anytime soon we moved out to the MH. I plugged in a long extension cord to power the house fridge. Slept comfortably with the AC on, watched TV before we went to bed, woke up in the morning and took s hot shower. Offered to let neighbors plug in their fridge but they didn't have long enough cord and we only had one. Worked out great, glad we are able to store our MH at our house.

NASCAR Race at MIS (Michigan International Speedway) Infield. Not with our new Siesta, yet. But in the past with our Tioga Montara and Jayco Jayflight 5th Wheel.

Lived fulltime for the last 8 1/2 years by choice & don't regret one second of it. Been coast to coast border to border more than once, no lawn to mow, no snow to shovel, no taxes, & if we don't like the neighbors we move.

Used several times as spare bed room at the house when large groups are staying. I consider it camping, but we take our to both NASCAR races at Texas Motor Speedway.

My beloved wife is a seasonal Ranger with the National Park Service. Many parks have some sort of employee housing for seasonals but most don't accommodate spouses and none allow pets. She picks parks with spaces for employee RVs so me and the critters can come along. The fun part is her love of the job and I get to volunteer in the park as well. We get to have cat and dog with us while living all season inside a wonderful park. This year we were in the Schoodic Woods Campground at Acadia National Park. Don't know yet where we might be next year. Back out west again I hope. Love Wyoming and Montana. When the winter snow starts we can run home to Florida where we have a brick and mortar home. Just can't get tired of places like Grand Tetons
for summer and outdoor grilling at New Years.

This was a last minute idea: Take it to a concert!
The venue is over an hour drive from us; during rush hour and with current construction almost two. Having the Axis with us meant that the concert goers can have drinks and snacks (and a restroom available). In addition they parked us with the limos right next to the building! (The only drawback to that was leaving--took a while to exit the parking lot.)
We arrived plenty early since I had no idea what to expect arriving in an RV (I did check that the venue allowed for RV parking before embarking on this adventure). When we left the concert we were the only RV among a sea of mini bus limos! LOL

We take out Axis whenever we go to a water park or amusement park, usually the park us right up front with the buses. The Axis gives us a place to escape the heat, change clothes and grab a quick bite to eat. Works so well.

Parking at Disneyland and Universal Studios
Here in California, you can drive your motorhome and park it at the amusement parks. The parking for RVs at Universal is VERY CLOSE to the park. No tram. Just walk on into Universal City and then on to the Studios. It is easy to come back to the RV to have a snack and a little rest before you go back for more fun.

Just took the Vegas to a Concert at Red Rocks in CO. They have RV parking at no charge. All Parking is free. Tailgated and relaxed before and after the event. It worked out great and no Port-a-poddy for us!

Had some bad storms last night that knocked out the power. I went out to the M/H and started the generator and turned on the a/c. Spent the night in it. Have actually had to do this several times over the years.

Looks a lot like the Palace of Auburn Hills... lol... lived 5 miles from there until the move to FL... and did some freelance work for them (flying blimps and watching games... lol) for many years.
It takes a while to get out of that lot after a large event even in a car - so may not have been that much longer in the RV.
