I'm glad to be able to help...
When I converted mine: I added some teflon tape to the threads.
They make a yellow version for propane connections...

They delivered our Blackstone griddle last night and time for the adventure to begin.

We use the Volcano III, it works on gas, charcaol and wood. It can grill, griddle, fits a wok perfectly or a cast iron pot. And it folds up into a 5 inch package.

Looks like fun. We got the Blackstone for home use, doubtful I'll ever see the MH. We have a small gas grill for the RV.

In about an hour. Bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. [emoji3]

We used our 22" for the first time yesterday. Cooked burgers and bacon. Toasted the buns in bacon grease. OMG so good.

As I was eating the burger I was looking at my regular grille, which is new for this past summer and is out on my deck, saying 'i think you may may need to give up your spot on the deck'.

Did you guys find any more forums that discuss Blackstones and/or other griddle cooking ideas?

First let me say I am considering the purchase of a Blackstone.

Now, I would find it very difficult to be convinced that a Blackstone is the tool of choice for grilling a steak or cedar plank salmon. I believe a griddle has its purpose with breakfast, cooking veggies, maybe, again maybe, a burger. But when it comes to things like steaks, pork tenderloin, chicken, corn, squash, zuccini, etc... it takes a grill.

If I decide to buy a Blackstone it will accompany the grill and not replace the grill.

Just my thought.

EA37TS,
We have a Weber Baby Q for steaks burgers, etc, but the Blackstone is the best for breakfast, vegies and shrimp fried rice. I bought the small one with a carry bag and it stays on the bottom shelf of the closet when not camping. I've had the Blackstone for a while and love it.

Yup! The 17" model holds more than enough for the two of us!
I keep debating with myself about getting the hard top for it.../

I’ll let you know how it works. Just ordered the 17” hard cover for ours.

The one thing I don’t like is not being able to easily melt cheese or keeping the heat in to cook thick cuts of meat.

Only down side is I don’t think I’ll be able to use the cover for it.

I’ll let you know......

I put a handle on a cheeseburger-sized pot for that purpose.
