Does Anyone Else Do This?

Okay: I get that we all love our RV's...
But does anyone else in here hit the RV websites, and "shop" for the million-dollar rigs?

I never look at the Monthly payments: that would just drive home my own current plight of economic misadventures...

Quite often I will look at rigs larger than mine to see what they offer and what new features they have. Some of these features I hope to add to my Axis later.

I think once I retire we will want a larger rig (actually I think I want TWO Rigs. 32 - 35 foot A class and a 25 foot B or B+).

By continuously browsing I will know exactly which rigs to look at first (or at least thats what I tell myself. LOL).

Yeah, for my next RV I will look at Tiffin and Newmar first. Might purchased one that is one or two years old to keep in the price range I want.

But the Miramar look nice and are about the "retirement Size" that I "think" I will want 9 - 10 years from now.

Maria always says laughingly when we hit the lotto we'll get a diesel

We look a lot of times.
The million dollar ones usually have more than what we want.
We are not looking to move into one 100% of the time, so it is fancying the idea, and seeing what is out there.
We keep looking at the class A's, and keep thinking, one of them may be in our future, we'll see.

We look all the time. We just went to a show this weekend and looked at rigs. We have no intention of trading up but like to incorporate new ideas into current rig. For instance, we went from a sleeper sofa to theater seating, changed to nicer captains chairs. This weekend, we saw some electric sun shade fabric that was a lot nicer than the standard black sun shade we have. We are thing of changing them out at some point.

FWIW

Sounds like me with the continuous browsing. I know my wife & I both like the "GENTLY USED" Tiffin 34QFA, Allegro Red 36QSA & Phaeton 36QSH. Or a Winnebago/Itasca 36M. The QSA & QSH are the most abundant & easier to find a lower priced unit.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing, When we are ready for a larger RV 10 years from now.... try and find a Tiffin or Newmar - Gas or DP - that is one or two years old but like now..... otherwise purchase new Gas Class A the we like best.

The secret to real happiness is learning to be content with what you have. When I had a tent, I dreamed of a fold down. A few years after I bought my gold down, I longed for a TT. Soon after I had that, I bought my first motohome... A Class C. A few years later I bought my dream used Class A. Three yesrs ago I bought my first new coach... My Miramar. Now I look in the magazines longingly at the DP's. I think I need to learn the secret of true happiness... I LOVE my Miramar!
