I don't know much about electric skillets...
But if you were talking about propane-powered ones: you only need to know one name...

We took a different route: Got a single burner induction cooktop (Amazon). Cook on that outside all the time. Now that I've replaced the propane stove inside the coach with a two burner induction cooktop we have 3 burners.

Well the linked to one is $70 for a single burner portable one (usually they come with one pot). I think the dual burner one I put in the RV was $199.

Thanks! When you mentioned them: I remembered that I do have a couple of exterior outlets...
Thinking inside the box always had propane cooking in my head!

Yup we setup a table next to the RV and do most of our cooking there under the awning.

Check the amperage of what you by. Your outlets are on 15 amp GFI circuit with other outlets. You will have to manage you usage.

The posted unit is available through Amazon warehouse for. $45.
Scroll down the posted page and you'll see the 'used' option.

I buy almost all of my Amazon stuff from the warehouse. All have been scratched boxes and no damage to the opened goods.

Electric Skillet

We use an induction hotplate. Works great and does not heat up unit.

SueTac, I have used electric skillets since they were invented I think. Always used them in the TT we had, but never got the chance to use one in the MH. I also bought an induction burner AND was going to take my electric skillet along. My current electric skillet is a George Foreman and is the best one I have ever had. I have worn out quite a few over the years. I never ever thought when I bought this one that I would like it the best, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Years agoI bought a single cassette butane burner for use when camping in the popup trailer I tow with my Gold Wing trike. Rather "reinvent the wheel", when needed, I move it to MH. Add a metal "ring" designed to fit on the burner 4 or 5 of us can sit around the table (inside or outside) and enjoy a great bulgogi meal.

The burner can also be used for single pot or pan cooking. I also have a large circular griddle for making pancakes. Think the burner cost around $25.00 these days and that includes a carrying case. A $1.50 tube of propane lasts me 5 or 6 meals.

I have a portable one burner style convection cook top. Bought it online with my copper pan... not too impressed with the square pan (corners don’t heat!) but I do like the portable cooktop since I can use it outside or as an additional burner inside. As long as the cookware is magnetic, it works well!

I dont leave home without my NUWAVE induction cooktop. I have one in my house and do 90% of our cooking on it. I have Three different skillets and a couple different size pots.

We have a convection oven/microwave oven, an induction cooktop, a Road Trip Coleman outdoor grill AND a little Presto 12" skillet. The little 12" skillet is routinely used for frying up a some eggs in the morning or in the evening for a quick skillet dinner (when we are traveling and just doing a quick overnight stop, we often do these). Coffee is VERY important to us and our Keurig is one of the first things set out. The skillet is just easier than moving stuff around on the counter top. Anyways - just how we roll.
