First Landing State Park Virginia Beach VA

Staying a week here W/S only. Nice sites, some 50 ft. max length. Lay of the shoreline provides beautiful sunsets over the water, near confluence of the Chesapeake Bay/Atlantic ocean.

nice place, and right 'on' the water(a elevated boardwalk over the dunes to it)... we were on the North end, pick your own spot, with electric and water.

'pick your own spot' is a guaranteed reservation, just not a guarantee of the specific site you may want. If a site that matches your reservation ticket 'color' is vacant, take it. Move tomorrow is another one becomes available that you like better.

Some has a lot of shade(mangrove/oak trees?), and some have none, but it's a pretty nice place all around.

I'll second Turners statement about the park. Stayed there a couple of times as well as the PhibBase at Little Creek and Sea Mist at Dam Neck.

Was this park called Seashore State Park at one time? If it was I’ve camped there many times and yes even back then it was a very nice place( a site was $2 ).
