Lake Catherine in Hot springs Arkansas was a nice place to be for a few days. Great little town.

This will definitely be a topic of conversation when we are gathered. Mrs S and I have covered many routes between Florida and the Midwest. We'll have an atlas along.

When we had our rally last spring and were discussing summer trip plans, we discovered some matching summer destinations. We ended up meeting in Canada for several days! Sometimes magic like this happens.

I asked when I made the reservation and intend to arrive around/just after lunchtime... If sites are available - was no issue.. and I don't expect they had a large crowd this week.
See you there!

Its a tough trip for me... lol... I turn out of my driveway and I am on SR44... Get to campground and turn off SR44...

Here's the latest. We have 15 rigs reserved, and we will all be together in the same block. Plenty of room for more! Early arrival is likely not a problem.

We'll do potluck Friday evening, walk to the Grill on Saturday evening. Lunch on your own on Saturday. The Grill is expecting our group. Many of us are planning on doing the boat ride on Sunday at 10. We'll probably catch lunch at the Grill after the boat ride, which will make us check out later than the posted time. The office knows that and late checkout is not a problem.

There will be picnic tables that we can rearrange as needed. Fall arrived today in central Florida, and the forecast for the weekend is great! There is no shade, period. Light winds in the forecast should make it nice to have awnings out.

Again, if you can't bring your RV, you are still welcome to join us for a meal and/or conversation. We are gonna have a great time together!

As a bonus, everyone gets an extra hour of sleep Saturday night!

Well - not unless you are staying another week....
Time change not until Nov 5.
Wouldn't want you to miss the boat ride by an hour!

See you there...

We have been so looking forward to this get together. It pains me to have to pull out at the last minute. I am suffering from a severe chest cold that is really kicking my behind. It also pains my wallet, as KOA policy is 48 hour notification, after that deposit is forfeited. Oh well, only money.
We will be ready for the spring fling.

Oh man Jim, hope you feel better- you were going to be the 28z representative! We won't be able to make it- too many kids baseball games! Hope to catch up in the spring- we love the RV! (we were newbies when we pulled in last year). If anyone is at Santos next weekend look for us!
