What is this strange thing & how do I fix it???

Good St Paddy's Day Morning Guys!

Don't you love it when your rig plays a new game of "Now you see it, now you don't"?

I'm doing my "pre-launch checks", getting ready to leave Jennings Ferry COE in Eutah Alabama in just a few minutes.

Low & behold, this 'lil black plastic slinky hose, that's definitely blowin air thru it at the same rate/pressure as the rest of my vents on setting 3 (I just turned on my rig for the final release of my stabilizing jacks & emergency brake), is hanging down from under the dash right above my gas pedal. It wasn't hangin there before (visibly, anyway). Now it is....hmmm

I took some pics & hope y'all can tell me for certain what it is (I already think it's part of my circulation of heat/air), & how to fix it back where it belongs - hopefully without another trip to camping world! Thanks to everyone in advance!

I'm just about to depart, so please let me know if I'm gonna blow somethin up if I move before it's fixed, lol!

Otherwise, I'll check back on it with y'all after my first 100 miles or so. Have an awesome St. Paddy's Day & stay safe!

P.S. In case y'all need the info again, I have a 2018 ACE 30.2Click image for larger version

I'm going to say its the heat duct from the heater to the dash vent or or defroster. Nothing to worry about, just find out where it goes later and put it back on.

it's just the factory's installed heater/a/c venting to the driver area - normal.

I'm agreeing with these guys: it shouldn't be a big deal to get it kicked back into place...

Turner is correct. Main purpose is cabin heater duct. A few years ago it actually fit on to a plastic director, similar to a nozzle. Later years cost cutting eliminated the extra part. The hose is normally held in place under the dash by a plastic tie wrap. They may have forgotten to put it on or maybe it came loose somehow. Nothing to worry about. Enjoy your trip.

Thor publishes the schematics online which is helpful in locating things (I could'nt find the water pump)...It is definitely part of dash HVAC

Probably just the “floor” vent for the heater. Might have come unclipped from something. Just tuck it back up and don’t worry about it.

I agree with what everyone is saying and safe to drive on.

Geez, Eutaw, Alabama, same weekend I was 15 miles south of there at Bama Bike Fest.
It was a good time, friends and campfires, was in 40's overnight though.
