You Named Your RV What????

The first thing my family did when getting our Axis was to give him a name and yes for some reason it's a " him" ... not sure why. I thought it would be interesting to hear from others who are naming theirs as well. I'm sure there are some very interesting and amusing names, as well as stories, to go along with them.

We named our Axis "Odie" (short for Odin), the kids are fans of the Thor/ Marvel movies.

Anyone else care to share?

Well we have a nice size boat that we named Freedom. I was in Iraqi Freedom, free from all child support, free from all bills and when we got the boat free to go where ever we wanted on the water. So if you haven't guessed it yet the motorhome is Freedom Two. Now we are free to travel the US of A....

Okay, DW named our "Ms. Enterprise". We have ordered a spare-tire cover that says "...TO BOLDLY GO...". I got to name the Toad..."Galileo" of course.

Just short trips for now, retirement is still two or three years down the road; after that it will be: “…Second star to the right — and straight on ’til morning".

When our son was little the camper was called "The Big Box". That name, however, was retired when we traded it in on the Axis. Now its just the boring name of "camper".

i keep feeling like it needs a name, but can't come up with one....
DW says to call it Chateau, since that name is already all over it.... I don't know, it just feels too obvious....

We call ours "Val" as in short for Valhalla... one of those Norse mythology things to go along with the Thor name.

If the pope can have his ride, why not my best 4-legged friend? No disrespect meant to the pope.

I saw a boat once named "Job Site". I asked the owner why that name, he said that way when he was having a little R&R his receptionist could tell his clients that he was on the "Job Site".

Ours is called CasaLoca for Crazy House although that name isn't written on it anywhere. At least not yet. It is an older, (2004), model that we bought mostly to live in while my wife works her summer jobs in the National Parks. Park housing doesn't allow pets and I didn't like getting left home with just the critters.
Wife says she would be calling it the Money Pit if there were not already a movie by that name. I keep my mouth shut because this one was $10,000 cheaper than the one I wanted us to buy.
Chuck Peck (getting tired of surprises)
