$.25 off per gallon of fuel
Join the Shell fuel rewards for free. You get $.25 off per gallon on the first fill up and then $.05 per gallon after that. Both are only up to 20 gallons. But if you need more fuel, hang up the pump and start the process again to get the discount again. Here is a link to a free sign up link.

Travel safe and enjoy the savings.

That, along with the Pilot/FlyingJ Good Sam discount are good, but getting a $50 gas card at Publix for $40 when that have that coupon deal gets you an effective 20% discount on gas (50 cents a gallon at $2.49.9) and if you get the Shell card you can use the Fuel Reward with it for even more savings.

BP also has a rewards credit card. Sometimes it gives me up to $.50 off per gallon.
In addition if you are a Kroger member Kroger gas is pretty cheap.
In addition x2: Many Costco's have gas for members on the cheap.

Costco credit card deal is pretty good. Have one and get 4% rebate on all gas, theirs and most others. Even at $2 that's .08 a gallon.
Kroger is a good deal but none to be seen here in Birmingham. My daughter using them and love's it. Thx for the input.

With the discount at P/FJ usually still paying .25 more than everywhere else. If I could save .50+ a gallon I'd go for that, anything .10 or less I won't go out of my way.
My MIL would drive 25 miles one way to save .03 per gallon, her car got 25 mpg & her tank held 16 gallons, 10 gallons at $2.50 per gallon spent $5 to save .60, I ask her to do the math, she stopped doing it.

Use my Sams Clud MC and get 5% back on top of this also. I use gas buddy to find the best deal. But I also look at the distance I would have to travel.

I’ll make note of this since I have never seen this here in the east where I have been traveling. Maybe they make all thier profit in Texas!!!!
Between iExit gas, gas buddy and the pilot site they have always been competititive. But if not it should show up between those 3 apps. I usually stop at a rest area when I get below 1/2 and start watching them. U can usually go out as far as u want. Thx Dennis.

I use whatever gas buddy says is cheapest. Usually, buy around $200 gallons at a time, use my Capital One for the points, and fly to the Carribean every spring for free....
