E7 Error Code -- need a DRV shop --

Over the weekend we had an E7 Error Code come up on the Dometic Thermostat -- an nothing is working. No AC, heat, fan -- nothing. Have contacted DRV and trying to get in their shop --- which is 600 miles from our home in Maryland.
If anyone can recommend a DRV shop that could handle the work I will contact them and see if I can get in --- should DRV not be able to take us quickly.
We have tried a reset and nothing has worked. Shame with a unit that is basically 6 weeks old.

Any help would be appreciated.

Don

Try contacting Dometic themselves. They might be able to find you a service center closer to where you are.

Try finding the main transfer switch box (mine is under the bed)..(it transfers from shore power to 12v or gennie.) may have just tripped it's circuit breaker (if you are lucky, if not you may have gotten a high voltage spike and fried the mudd'r

Does anyone know where the transfer box is on a DRV?

It should be very near the main incoming line plug in from the shorepower pedestal. ie: near where your shore power cord plugs into the coach.

Earlier this year, we had an issue with one of the furnaces on our 2010 38TKSB3 not coming on. We got in touch with a mobile repair guy in Colorado Springs and he tried the temperature sensor first, but that didn't help. Playing around with things, he decided that the control board in the A/C unit needed to be replaced.

With that board being replaced, everything worked fine. When he replaced only the temperature sensor, the furnace would come on, but only if the thermostat was set up to about 94 degrees. Since we were still in cold weather there in Colorado Springs, we worked with that until he replaced the board.

Any RV repair center can work on that system. You will also find a LOT of mobile repair people that will come to you and fix the problem. If it is under warranty, the RV repair centers will not cost you anything. The mobile guys will need to be paid for the travel time.
