Hunter you can get the exact amount from "the man" himself, Rob Kolean at MorRyde International. His phone number is 574-293-1581. He can give you an estimate and schedule you in for service.

Around $1,800, depending on materials needed. Kinda sad the option to add when ordering is only 3-$400.

Thanks I may give them a call!

You can be driving 40-50 and hit the OH SH!T bar and it will hunker down but not even close to locking up.

I know how good the braking should be since I used a MaxBrake on my 11 RAM and other MS. Others have said the 12-14 RAM controller works as well as the MB did. Hope to have a fix from Chrysler. If not I will see if I can make the MB from the 11 work or buy a P3.
10.... Mine is set at 7.5 and breaks great. When did you go up to 10? I thought you told me that you had set yours up at 7.5?

I did but the more I towed I realized it was not enough. Bottom line the brakes come on good but if you need EXTRA it's NOT there!

JBurg has the same problem it seems. Lots of talk over at RV.NET.

Give Rob a call at 547-293-1581 #256. He is a GREAT guy and will take good care of you. I had Keith do the actual work on mine. He has been there for about 17 years and truly knows his stuff!!!

Anyone going there be sure to take the factory tour, VERY impressive. Owned by two brothers that took over Dad's business.

Good news for anyone having braking problems with a factory controller from RAM in a 15 or 16 truck. My Chrysler contact told me there is a flash in the works that will be available in around two weeks. I will post the info as soon as I have it.

I wondered about that.... They can "flash" just about anything these days so why not an IBC? Our truck came without the Nav but the dealer flashed that in for us, no big deal.

Looking forward to MY visit to MorRyde.... Just as soon as DRV cuts my trailer loose from the paint shop!

Dan

Can't remember. You have the rear air ride correct? Will be interesting if you have the 3" lift. I had Keith work on ours, GREAT guy really knows his stuff!!! Should he has worked there for 16 years.

I actually have 17,500# sitting on my two axles and was advised by MorRyde not to add a third axle. We may be upgrading the two axles I have now.
This question from page one:

I can't speak to the distance from pin to front axle on the toy haulers, or for that matter, any of the other 3-axle trailers. However, after a question was brought up quite some time back, I had the opportunity to measure those distances on a 44-footer and a 38RSB3 at Rolling Retreats. The 44-footer was 23' 8" from pin to front axle and the 38RSB3 was 32' 11".

Those measurements were taken back on February 23rd.

Terry

The dimensions on the 38' seem too far back??? Did you mean 22' 11" ?
