Anti Stiction Fluid

We have the dreaded popping noise in our leveling jacks.
Where did you find the Anti stiction fluid and who has the best price? I know the Cat fluid is like gold, are the others a little cheaper?

They put Maxim 15w motorcycle fork oil (still $12-15 per quart) in mine & I also use it to top off the reservoir occasionally, in almost 5 years it's not been a problem, no popping or creaking since.
Pull out about a quart out of the reservoir & replace with the fork oil, cycle slides/jacks a few times to circulate in the oil, be sure all jacks are up & all slides are in before topping off the tank to 1/4-1/2" from the top of the fill hole.

I too changed the fluid, but using a dry lube on the shafts did the trick.

I bought Torco fork oil off Amazon. No problems or noise for 6 months. They are in the $15 a quart range.

I forgot to mention that if you go to the Lippert site they list the brands they recommend. I not sure it makes any difference, but that is how I ended up with Torco.

It was also recommended by the factory techs that you wipe the dust off & spray the jack cylinders every time you move or weekly if parked with a silicone spray lube.

We initially had the popping noise also (last yr.) I'd read the silicone spray suggestion and tried it. Sprayed them and lightly wiped them down then retracted them, leveled the coach. No more popping.
I still do them every once and a while as they get dusty, try to keep them clean.
Be well.
