Bodywork: Update

When the work was done I thought I was a happy camper. Now..Not so much.
Within a week of the repair I had to return because about ten screws that hold the molding around the rear cap had broken. Since I was in Goshen at LCI I returned to have this taken care of. Done. Few days and 500 miles later I noticed the lower edge of the rear cap was bowed all out of shape. This is like a hood scoop. Lets in air, dirt, and rain into the rear cap area. I know that the original cap was not sealed very well because I resealed it, but it did fit flat. This on not so much.

Do you have any idea why this is happening to a new repair?

I dont like to use names but EF said they are all made that way.
Does he think I am stupid or what? Who would let such a thing go in the name of they are all that way. I know that they are NOT all that way because I had one from the factory and it was not that way. I will agree that there is no molding from the factory but the caps are not warped like that.
By the way, this was not a warranty issue. I paid them for the new cap, etc.
Made a trip to Lowes for some Aluminum strips and self tapping screws. When it stops raining here in TN, I'll fix it. $55.00 spent is cheaper than going back to Howe.

It's just disheartening that after YOU paid the big $$$$ to get your unit fixed YOU have to "fix it" again. EF is delusional!

To quote LBJ " don't p**** on my leg and tell me it's raining out."

Well Mr EF is a real #^*@!!! in my book as his famous quote to me told me everything I needed to know about his quality standards " I have seen worse in million dollar homes" when referring to my pantry cabinet that is about 5/8" out of square in 13". It's so far out of square the mites cut at 45 don't even come together. So I was told to pound sand on that one!!!

I will NEVER go to the Factory for anything even if buying a new DRV. I will have ALL my warranty work done at Rolling Retreats.

Sorry for your issues, it's better to just fix it your self and since he was not willing to fix it let the world know of your experiences just as I have.

Install complete. After primer and paint it'll be done.
