wouldn’t love bugs be a little different as when you come across them, it is almost like a swarm of them.

Have seen much worse bug messes over the years when in the south--some vehicles simply are covered without an inch open, and some overheat from the clogs. Yes, guess they swarm, but sometimes no space between swarms...constant battle when they are moving.

And in Desert Hot Springs in March there were TONS of Painted Lady butterfly’s that left big yellow splotches on the nose. We were told it was because they had a wet winter. And they we’re everywhere.

I rode my unfaired bike through a swarm of grasshoppers in the Dakotas one summer. Big nasty green gooey things. Caught one in the neck. And my face shield was covered. The noise was...impressive. Can’t imagine doing that without a full face helmet.

Terry - do we have an update on how the cover works?

And some pictures of how they are mounted - permanent hardware attached to the RV etc?

Good afternoon, Port. I thought that I sent a couple of close up pictures to your email; maybe I didn't. Anyway, post #10 shows the side hardware (enlarge it) and it's the same on both sides. There is a pulley block at the top, a C-channel rail down the side, and a locking mechanism at the bottom. Then there is an elastic tie at the bottom corners. It raises and lowers much like a flag. I can get better photo's of the sides tomorrow and post them. I took it to an air brush artist and just got it back today.
