Brake Caliper bushings

I need new rubber bushings for the calipers on my 2015 unit. Has anyone obtained them from a source other than Kodiak?

Try Etrailer

https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories...DBC250KIT.html

Whats wrong with getting them from Kodiak:

86 Buick Century HD is the spec for 8k axles. NAPA would be a good source.

Thanks Cummins. I know that the 80's GM cars are the spec for the pads (I have the year numbers from Kodiak) but I suspect that the caliper housing is a Kodiak design. However, I can ask at my local NAPA. I was hoping for another possible supply route from someone here in Canada, rather than getting stuff from the US.

" but I suspect that the caliper housing is a Kodiak design"

NOPE, the calipers are the GM spec also.

OK Cummins, thanks, I didn't realize that. I'll check with my NAPA store for bushings for that vintage GM brake part. Thanks also to those who suggested etrailer. They do list the part, but I'll try a local source first.

Update, after Googling a lot, and checking the details at Etrailer, I managed to find the bushings at NAPA - they are for the front brakes on a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier.

Glad that you found them. When you made the post did you tag it with brake bushings? It just makes it POP up when doing a search.

You do it when making the thread. You can put up to 5 tag words.

They're 8k, not ???. I get the bushings today, so I'll be able to confirm that they fit tomorrow.

Reason I ask is the Kodiak caliper is actually 86 Buick Century HD front caliper. Never heard if it being a 2005 Cavalier.

We'll see how they fit. When I looked for the 86 Century caliper parts they didn't look right, but the dimensions of 05 Cavalier bushings line up exactly with the bushing sizes I found on Etrailer.

I can confirm that the bushings are NAPA part #82904A, an exact fit - found by searching for disc brake hardware for a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier. This "part" is for 4 bushings, so two packs are needed to do both axles. Maybe they fit the century also, but could not find them under that model.

Is it actually a GM caliper or a Kodiak caliper using GM parts?

It's a GM based Caliper. Go to NAPA or another Auto parts store and tell em 86 Buick Century HD and the caliper will be a direct replacement on the MORryde 8k IS axles.
