Does anybody else have this?

I finally got around to cleaning the "insulated window" stickers off, and in the process of cleaning the windows I noticed a gap in the weatherstripping. It is only on the windows that have a dual window setup, if that makes sense. Has anyone else noticed this on their trailer?

Pretty much all our windows seem to have little gaps in he weatherstripping. Looks lie a little project coming at some time to close them up..

I emailed Mark at DRV about it and he said that he didn't think he would be able to send me enough weatherstripping to redo all the windows, but the next time it is at a dealer he would have them do it...

Fixed

Went to Ace Hardware and found similar weather stripping, cut pieces to fit into gaps and all is fine. The project took less than 30 minutes.

Are you talking about the gap between the molding?

No. On our trailer there is a gap in the weatherstripping of all the windows that are set up as a pair, allowing outside air (and dust) in.

Still not sure what you mean? We have many different size window in our rig and I do not notice multiple windows budding up with each other. With in a window there is a fixed piece of glass and a section or sections that can open also. I did notice in the windows can can open that there are what looks to be like two weeping holes in the seals of the window. Why they feel that need to have those for draining water is beyond me. It just seems to allow more noise to be heard and for bugs to get between the screen and window.

I believe the "weeping holes" you mentioned are what I'm inquiring about.

As for the windows that I'm talking about, just to confirm we are on the same page- Let us use my rear window as an example. It is a very large window, and the bottom has two sections that can be opened individually. (Dual window setup I mentioned in the original post. Probably could have explained it better initially)

This gap in weatherstripping, or weeping hole, is only found on four sets of windows- those being the rear, the two large side windows, and the small window opposite the bed in the master bedroom.
